ABOUT US
We are 'The nocturnes' - Daniel Ayali and Yahav Kanner.
Our compositions are original and including parts of improvisations.
Although The music is inspired by many different musical traditions, it remains free and loyal to our inner voice and interpretation.
We met in 2016 in Mitzpe Ramon, which is a small, artistic and unique town in the Negev desert of Israel.
We were both music student in the first year of the Internal Compass music school , and worked together as a stargazing guides tour.
Both of us shared passion for music and to night sky. Before starting work on "The Nocturnes" project we collaborated in several projects, among them the band "Skvazniak" that released the debut album "Poor and Pure" at 2019, Daniel as electric guitarist and Yahav as a drummer.
